Nice higher horsepower New Holland TC40D tractor. Machine was used to maintain a small property and was well maintained its entire life. Tractor runs and operates 100%, no leaks that I've seen but may have a drop or two if parked on concrete for awhile. Hood and fenders are in great shape no cracks or dings. Still a nice original TC40D tractor not beat up and not abused. This is the deluxe version of New Holland's compact tractor line, and has some nice deluxe features as well. Including; tilt steering wheel, suspension seat, HST transmission, and a hard sloping hood for easy view of the front bucket. The HST transmission in this is extremely handy and has 2 shiftable ranges. but then has an additional 2 electronic shift on the fly speeds in each of those ranges with a press of a button. Also has the optional Supersteer front axle that the whole axle pivots left or right as you steer for extremely sharp turns. Machine is extremely nice for newer operators with the sloping hood you can see the bucket nicer than many of the other brands. backhoe is in nice shape, still tight at all the pins, but was not on the machine much so previous owner touched it up a little to make the blue shine again. This is one of the high-quality built New Holland tractor's made by Shibaura in Japan just like the drivetrains in Kubota's and Deere's. Just a much more reliable and better built machine than the newer Korean machines. Super easy to maintain and extremely reliable. 1480 hours is barely breaking this machine in, and will provide thousands of hours more of reliable use. Many of these are still working daily on farms with 3-4000 hours. Expensive machine to replace new nowadays and likely over $50k new from most manufacturers to get the same quality.
